This Video captures the Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran’s Day and traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall in Cottonwood, Arizona – March 27th – 31st. The event is to show thanks to the many Vietnam Veterans who returned to the States in the 1960’s and 70’s to a less than heroe’s welcome. Now, these Vietnam Vets are getting the ‘welcome home’ with honors that they deserve. Thanks to the efforts of the Cottonwood VFW, Ron Luce, Eduard Uzumeckis, Dave Gorman, the Mayor Diane Joens and many volunteers, including hundred of Valley motorcyclists – this Terrie Frankel film, Directed by Jack Hillman captures the excitement of a history making event culminating with a remarkable Easter service by Papa Dave Treadwell at the Memorial Wall. The 1st Valley Vietnam Veteran’s Day was initiated by Tim Ernster and Eduard Uzumeckis and took place in Sedona, Arizona in 2012. The plan is to have next year’s event in Camp Verde, Arizona.
